SCMIII PANEL : Belt feeder control module

SCMIII PANEL : Belt feeder controller in switch cabinet version

The SCMIII PANEL is an intelligent control module installed in an switch cabinet. It consolidates the control and regulation functions. This advanced controller manages the entire operation of a belt feeder, centralising data from sensors such as weighing, speed and index. With its advanced computing power, it simplifies flow, totalisation, and regulation measurements for the whole range of industrial dosing processes.

The integrated colour display shows up to four graphs in real time, allowing you to monitor the flow rate in relation to the set point. You can graphically observe the evolution of your process for continuous improvement and proactive maintenance.

The SCMIII PANEL is compatible with all HASLER Group dosing systems and is also available in the SCMIII FIELD version which is directly installed on the belt feeder.

DESCRIPTION OF THE SCMIII PANEL REGULATOR AND CONTROLLER

The SCMIII PANEL digital controller and regulator is the ideal solution for batch or continuous belt feed applications.

The SCMIII PANEL now incorporates the latest innovations in human-machine interface design. It features a colour touch screen, the Process Display Unit (PDU), allowing the controller to be managed from the front of the control cabinet or remotely. For the ultimate user experience, the equipment can also be managed via an optional mobile application.

The SCMIII PANEL is compatible with all HASLER Group dosing systems and is also available in the SCMIII FIELD version which is directly installed on the belt feeder.

This digital equipment regulates and controls all HASLER Group belt feeders by calculating flow rate, totalisation, and control signals using its advanced calculation system.

Two types of weight sensors can be used with the SCMIII PANEL:

/ Analogue sensors : based on a strain gauge sensor (4 or 6 wires via digital converter, over 65,000 points)
/ Digital sensors : SFT type (one million points)

All the data collected by the system are displayed visually on the screen and can be transmitted on different types of communication protocols: Open Modbus/TCP (Ethernet RJ45), Modbus RTU (RS422), Profibus DP (RS485) and Profinet (Ethernet RJ45).

It offers the following functions:

/ Remote controller management (PDU)
/ Input/output display
/ Graphical display of flow rate
/ Time stamping and alarm history
/ Integrated diagnostic tools
/ Weight converter (for adding up to three weight measurement points)
/ Multilingual mode
/ Mobile application (optional)

Compatibility :
The SCMIII can be combined with all HASLER Group belt feeders, including:

/ Weigh belt feeders : GRAVIT, GIGRAVIT, GRAVIT LIGHT, POWDRIT
/ Apron extractor weigh feeder : MAMMUTHUS, MAMMUTHUS 2000, MAMMUTHUS CLINKER, MAMMUTHUS LIGHT
/ Flow meters : FLOW (impact plate), GRAN
/ Rotary feeders : ROTAWEIGH, TWIN ROTAWEIGH
/ Loss-in-weight feeders : RBP
