DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION OF THE MAMMUTHUS 2000 EXTRACTOR WEIGH FEEDER
Description :
/ It consists of a large extraction section, a metal apron conveyor belt and two digital load cells for precise dosing of the materials transported.
/ Chains with an integrated roller reduce the friction between the chain and the elements in contact with it, enabling smoother movement and better efficiency.
/ The MAMMUTHUS 2000 metal apron extractor weigh feeder is equipped with reinforced steel plates improving its robustness and its ability to withstand heavy loads and difficult operating conditions.
/ It has reinforced rails beneath the plates at the apron entrance to better separate the material.
/ Its integrated inspection doors simplify commissioning and maintenance in continuous dosing processes.
For even more accurate measurement, this gravimetric industrial dosing system incorporates an impulse sensor in its geared motor, providing an accurate reading of the speed of movement of the material on the belt. The MAMMUTHUS 2000 is an industrial dosing device equipped with an index passage detector that synchronises segmented derating when the apron is empty. The regulation of its transport speed, adjusted according to the material load, guarantees accurate, constant dosing. Fully enclosed, it also incorporates a weigh bridge with two digital load cells.
Operation :
/ The MAMMUTHUS 2000 extractor weigh feeder is an automated dosing system. It functions as a metal belt feeder with the additional function of extracting the product under the silo. The chain drive transmits a higher torque to the metal apron, allowing for larger extraction surface areas for clogging materials.
/ The apron is equipped with a weighing system to determine the material load.
/ The flow rate is calculated as a function of the measured load and the linear speed of the apron.
/ The controller keeps the flow rate constant by modifying the belt speed according to the load measured and the setpoint applied.
Option :
/ The machine can be controlled by the SCMIII material flow control system to collect the data and signals needed to calculate flow, total quantities and regulation functions.
/ Opting for the SCMIII PDU console allows you to receive and view all the data and alerts generated during the dosing process in real time.
