The GRAN industrial impact plate flowmeter is an instrument for measuring granular material flow in solid bulk granulate form. It is designed for continuous process operation, based on the principle of measuring the force of impact of an accelerated mass.
Its robust, ingenious structure ensures that no material is retained at the inlet, particularly for relatively large granules. This industrial flowmeter is fitted with removable wear plates and optional anti-abrasion manganese steel plate, making it the ideal solution for harsh environments, particularly cement plants.
This dosing solution is controlled directly via the HASLER Group BFC controller.

EXTENDED MATERIAL RANGE
This industrial dosing solution is available in five different sizes, covering a particle size of up to 20 mm. Its inlet is fitted with removable wear plates and can optionally be fitted with anti-abrasion manganese steel plates which guarantee flow measurement for a variety of materials.
INGENIOUS DESIGN
The inlet of the industrial impact plate flowmeter is designed to avoid retention of material, particularly for relatively large granules.
SIMPLIFIED MAINTENANCE
In principle, this device does not require any specific maintenance. However, in the event of unexpected hopper release causing material to block the inlet, an inspection hatch is provided at the top to enable access for maintenance.
The GRAN impact plate flowmeter is used for weighing and dosing granular bulk solid materials.
To supply the kiln, raw powder feed, bulk cement…
DESCRIPTION OF THE GRAN IMPACT PLATE FLOWMETER
GRAN flowmeters are flow measurement instruments for granular bulk solid materials. The operation of GRAN flowmeters is based on the principle of measuring the impact force of an accelerated mass.
The path taken by the material is as follows:
/ Entry into the machine : when the material enters the machine, it is important to ensure that the flow is as constant and even as possible.
/ Material free-fall acceleration : the flow of material falls into a cone which guides it vertically in free fall. This cone ensures constant acceleration of the material.
/ Impact on deflection plate : the flow of material is deflected from its vertical trajectory by a metal plate. As it modifies the momentum, this deflection creates a reaction force on the impact plate. The impact plate (also known as the deflection plate) is suspended from a weigh lever system, which transmits only the horizontal component of the reaction force to a load cell.
/ Exit from the machine : after being deflected, the material is released through an outlet flange.
Flow rate range:
/ GRAN 20: 15 to 60 m3/h
/ GRAN 30: 50 to 200 m3/h
/ GRAN 40: 150 to 350 m3/h
/ GRAN 50: 250 to 700 m3/h
/ GRAN 60: 300 to 900 m3/h
