Industrial scraper for settling processes LUMPP

The LUMPP industrial scraper for clarifiers and thickeners is designed to scrape settled sludge towards the tank outlet (at the centre or the edge) in continuous settling processes. These axial-drive machines efficiently scrape all types of sludge from circular tanks. These settling solutions are made of stainless steel using an ultra-robust design, capable of withstanding very high material loads.

LUMPP industrial scrapers are specially designed for tanks from 10 to 35 m in diameter and can collect and remove solid sludge at concentrations of up to 30%.

Automatic anti-overload system

The LUMPP scraper is equipped with a safety system that detects torque overloads in the tank. In the event of overload, the automatic system adjusts the height of the scraper arms, reducing resistance and enabling continuous operation.

Option of laboratory rheology analyses

Rheology analyses can be carried out to help you specify your installation and guarantee that it will be a perfect match for your needs.

Sludge extraction options

To adapt to all the possible installation configurations, LUMPP scrapers can be installed in tanks with central sludge extraction (discharge cone in the centre of the tank) or edge sludge extraction.

Calcium phosphate, phosphate ores, sulphuric acid, phosphate dihydrate, fluorite, calcium silicate, iron ores etc.

Zinc, nickel, copper, cobalt, etc.

Clarifiers, flocculation processes, thickeners etc.

Description of the LUMPP industrial scraper

The LUMPP industrial scraper for clarifiers and thickeners is primarily designed for phosphoric acid applications. The drive unit is installed centrally on a framework above the tank.

The rotation is transmitted by a tubular shaft with dedicated sections for the main vertical shaft, to which the scraper arms are attached. A coupling flange provides the link and blades attached to supports welded to the scraping arms scrape the material. These blades are bolted on for easy replacement. This settling solution also includes adjustable blades for precise adaptation to the operating conditions.

The liquid charged with fine particles is introduced into the scraper supply well. A reagent is added to the liquid beforehand to speed up the sedimentation process. The scraper blades direct the settled sludge towards the outlet (in the centre or at the edge of the tank). The clarified phase is recovered by overflowing in the upper part of the tank.
