GUITTARD LAB : Z-arm laboratory kneader and extruder

GUITTARD LAB : Kneader with double Z-arm for laboratory kneading

The GUITTARD LAB Z-arm kneader is an industrial laboratory kneading machine specifically designed for low-volume production. Capable of handling up to 30 litres of material, it offers laboratories the ideal solution for processes involving high-viscosity materials. The Z-shaped arms enable it to cover the entire surface of the tank, ensuring even kneading. The adjustable rotation of the blades breaks up any agglomerates to ensure efficient kneading with no unwanted constituents.

This series of industrial kneaders for laboratories is available in various versions and options: single-screw extruder, explosion-proof construction, vacuum pump, oil or water heating unit and PC-based data acquisition system.

Description of the GUITTARD LAB Z-arm kneader

The GUITTARD LAB Z-arm kneader is specially designed to meet the requirements of laboratories. Building on the characteristics of the GUITTARD MX series of industrial kneaders, it consists of two blades mounted on parallel shafts, rotating in opposite directions. The curved blades form a trough-shaped kneading chamber, promoting a shearing action as the Z-arm rotates. This action kneads, folds and thoroughly mixes the material.

The blades of the laboratory kneader move in a zigzag pattern, crossing over each other to effectively fold, stretch and knead the material to be mixed. This operation ensures that the agglomerates are completely mixed, dispersed and broken down, guaranteeing the quality of the finished product.

Installing and using the GUITTARD LAB kneader are simple, with a quick dismantling system that makes it easy to clean the machine. In addition, the use of a single power cable simplifies integration and ensures easy installation.
