Health & Safety Policy

HASLER aims to be an exemplary employer and to affirm its civic commitment. Through its Health & Safety Policy, HASLER wants to be a present, credible, and sustainable player in its industrial sectors.

Our priority

Protect the health and safety of the women and men who contribute to the development of HASLER Group, as well as all stakeholders who directly or indirectly participate in its activities (customers, suppliers, service providers, partners, etc.).

Our objective

„Zero accident“ and a culture of health, safety, environment and quality embodied by all employees.

For that,

We implement a Health & Safety Policy built on four pillars, which

APPLIES TO THE ENTIRE GROUP AND COMMITS EACH OF US.

Prevention

Preventing risks related to health, safety, security, and environmental protection is everyone’s responsibility. The Group believes that all professionnal accidents and illnesses can be prevented and that each individual has a role and a personal responsibility in ensuring workplace safety, health and environmental protection.

Management provides a working environment that facilitates the prevention of incidents and ensures that every employee is trained and able to use feedbacks learnt to contribute to collective performance.

Control of major risks

The control of our operational activities must take into account all “Life-Saving Rules.” Action plans must rely on technology, management systems, and human and organizational factors to achieve the “zero accident” objective.

Fair culture

A fair culture is based on a positive approach to health and safety, the right to make mistakes, and the spontaneous reporting of near-misses and dangerous situations, combined with appropriates sanctions in case of proven misconduct.

People involved

The value „Respect“ also means people who are involved and committed to a proactive health and safety culture. Every employee cares about their own safety and well-being, and that of others, act ethically and with integrity, respect diversity, and work to reduce inequalities. The behaviors of each and every stakeholder contribute to this success.

Collaboration and the sharing of best practices and near-miss feedback across all Group entities are essential to maintain control over our activities.

As members of HASLER, Presidents, managers and employees, we commit to:

  • Comply with all local laws and regulations wherever HASLER operates, introducing additional specific requirements and commitments when necessary;
  • Ensure the compliance of all equipment worldwide; prevent and reduce pollution that may arise from our activities;
  • Respect and implement the Health & Safety Policy, referring to it individually and collectively on a daily basis to become fully embedded in our culture.

All employees, through their diversity and skills, have a role and responsibility in ensuring the quality of products and services, and are key contributors in health, safety, security, and the protection of people and assets.

We believe in visible leadership and personal responsibility in matters of health and safety at all levels and throughout our organization.

Our new HASLER policy reflects our 2030 vision for Health & Safety. Each of our choices and all our decisions must be aligned with principles outlined above. Our development must meet this long-standing requirement while integrating contemporary environmental challenges. We must actively contribute to these collective challenges, and each of you has a role to play.

Together with the members of the EXCOM, we commit to monitor the implementation of the Group’s Health & Safety Policy so that, collectively, we protect the lives and health of all.
