With numerous triumphs in alternative fuels, HASLER Group excels in analyzing and delivering tailored solutions for metering any waste fuel.

Various solutions, tailored to factors like piece size, flow capacity, feed rate, and pneumatic conveying feasibility, can be considered from delivery to burner. In cement production, caloric energy needs dominate costs. While traditional fossil fuels persist, significant savings are attainable through secondary or alternative fuels, including industrial or household waste, which may vary in coarseness, such as:

  • tyres shreds
  • wood shavings
  • compressed and shredded plastic bottles
Different kind of alternative fuels: tyres, wood, plastic bottles.

Other waste will be finer and generally lighter :

  • sawdust, impregnated or not
  • animal meal, fabric
  • paper shreds
  • vegetal shells like peanuts, cashew nuts, cotton, etc.

These materials, typically having poor flow properties, will be stored in suitable silos equipped with:

  • Negative slopes for the walls
  • Extracted by adapted devices:
    • Planetary screw
    • Multiple screws

To mitigate dust and occasional odors from these products, the entire handling process, including extraction, metering, and conveying, will occur within a sealed enclosure. This approach aims to prevent harmful emissions and minimize the risk of explosions.
